Spectrum offers voluntary services to the Montgomery Area Science Fair Association (MAFSA) of Montgomery County, Maryland, a Washington, D.C. suburb. Over the past three years our firm has launched a successful fundraising and publicity campaign that has helped raise more than $90,000 for their annual science fair. Spectrum proudly supports the 50th Anniversary of ScienceMONTGOMERY. In celebration of 50 years of excellence in science education, Spectrum is working closely with the MASFA committee to incorporate past science fair winners into the golden anniversary event.

ScienceMONTGOMERY is a volunteer-operated organization that continues to be one of the largest growing science fairs in America, with more than 400 participants in 2005. This organization is dedicated to encouraging and promoting interest in engineering, mathematics, science and science education in the youth of Montgomery County.

Participants receive more than $20,000 in prizes for excellence in Life Science and Physical Science categories. The Grand Prize winners are invited to compete at a global level at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).
