Since joining Spectrum Science Communications in March 2002, Susie Tappouni has focused on the development and implementation of major education, product launch and branding initiatives on behalf of numerous pharmaceutical, biotech and advocacy organizations. Her work has successfully partnered thought leaders, advocates, patients and celebrities to build awareness and effect change across multiple therapeutic categories, including oncology, immunology, neurology and cardiology.

Susie has helped prepare the market for and launch first-in-class medications for psoriasis, heart failure, Alzheimer's and chronic pain patients. Her pre-commercial work also includes the implementation of a multi-media clinical trial recruitment campaign targeting recently diagnosed Alzheimer's patients. Susie has also helped manage numerous education campaigns, including a national, multi-year corporate campaign to raise awareness and participation in oncology clinical trials.

Before joining Spectrum, Susie gained experience at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where she supported public relations initiatives for major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Merck and Ethicon.  Susie received her B.A. degree in communications from Virginia Tech University.
